WHAT ARE THE CHECK IN / CHECK OUT TIMES?
Enniskeen Estate cabins
You can check in from 3pm at Enniskeen Estate cabins. Please let us know your planned time of arrival so we can ensure somebody is onsite to greet you and get you checked in. If you plan to arrive earlier, please do drop off your luggage with us and explore the grounds and private spa (booking essential).
Check out is by 11am. We politely ask that you leave your hidden sanctuary and return your key by this time, you are welcome to enjoy the garden after this time.
Thistle Thatch Mountain Cottage
You can check in from 4pm at Thistle Thatch Mountain Cottage. Please let us know your planned time of arrival so we can ensure somebody is onsite to greet you and get you checked in.
Check out is by 11am.
ARE YOU DOG FRIENDLY?
Enniskeen Estate cabins
Due to the protected wildlife on the estate, no pets are permitted at Enniskeen Estate’s cabins.
Thistle Thatch Mountain Cottage
Due to the approximation to working farms, no pets are permitted at the Mountain Cottage.
DO YOU HAVE FAMILY CABINS, HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN SLEEP IN YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS?
We do not currently offer any family accommodation facilities. Our accommodation options are for up to 2 adults only.
WHERE IS THE NEAREST BAR?
Enjoy a drink in Enniskeen Hotel bar or take it to the terrace for breath-taking views over the Mournes as you soak in the afternoon sun. Bar is open until 11pm Monday-Saturday, 10pm Sunday.
WHERE CAN I GET LUNCH/DINNER?
Enniskeen Hotel offer bar snacks, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
Oak Restaurant Pre-booking advised.
Lunch: 12.30PM – 2.30PM Monday to Sunday
Dinner: 5PM – 8.30PM Monday to Sunday
Bar Snacks
Monday - Sunday 12.30PM – 2.30PM
Afternoon Tea
Monday - Sunday 3.30PM – 4.45PM
A range of award winning bars and restaurants are also available in nearby towns of Newcastle, Maghera and Dundrum (5-10 minutes drive)
ARE THERE COOKING FACILITIES WITHIN THE ACCOMMODATION?

Both Kingfisher’s Residence & Doe’s Den are equipped with a coffee machine, kettle and cool box. There are no cooking facilities.
Thistle Thatch Mountain Cottage
Thistle Thatch Mountain Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with wood fired stove oven.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
Enniskeen Estate cabins
Parking is available in the hotel carpark, situated a short 5minute stroll from Kingfisher’s Residence and Doe’s Den, along the river trail. Guests should note the path is uneven and includes steps, please wear suitable clothing/footwear.
Thistle Thatch Mountain Cottage
Private parking is available at Thistle Thatch Mountain Cottage.

Enniskeen Estate is just 1 mile from the small seaside town of Newcastle County Down, situated just 1 hour drive from Belfast, and 2 hours drive from Dublin.

AGE RESTRICTIONS
Enniskeen Estate is an adult only facility, therefore no guest under the age of 18 can make a booking and all guests must be 16 or over.
ACCESSIBILITY
Please be advised Enniskeen Estate accommodations and grounds are not suitable for wheelchair access.
ALLERGEN AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
At Enniskeen Estate we can cater to all dietary requirements; please let us know in advance if you have a specific allergy or dietary requirement.
