WHAT ARE THE CHECK IN / CHECK OUT TIMES?
Enniskeen Estate luxury glamping cabins
You can check in from 3pm at Enniskeen Estate luxury glamping cabins. Please let us know your planned time of arrival so we can ensure somebody is available to greet you and get you checked in.
Check out is by 11am. We politely ask that you leave your hidden sanctuary and return your key by this time, you are welcome to enjoy the wider estate after this time.
Mountain Cottage
You can check in from 4pm at the Mountain Cottage. Please let us know your planned time of arrival.
ARE YOU PET / DOG FRIENDLY?
Due to the abundant native wildlife living permanently on the estate, no pets are permitted at Enniskeen Estate’s cabins unfortunately.
DOES EACH OF YOUR CABINS HAVE A PRIVATE HOT TUB?
Yes all our luxury glamping cabins and our mountain cottage have their own private hot tub overlooking the Mourne Mountains. The private hot tub is for your use only and is beside your cabin. Its the best glamping in Ireland!
DID HUGH JACKMAN ACTUALLY STAY OVERNIGHT WITH YOU?
Yes! - Hugh Jackman the A-list actor stayed with us for 3 nights in 2025 while filming the new movie ‘The Death of Robin Hood’ in Tollymore Forest Park. Hugh said he would love to come back and stay with us again so fingers crossed! The new movie ‘The Death of Robin Hood’ is due to be released on 4 June 2026.
DO YOU HAVE FAMILY CABINS, HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN SLEEP IN YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS?
We are an adult only retreat and so do not currently offer any family accommodation facilities. Our accommodation options are for up to 2 adults only.
WHERE IS THE NEAREST BAR?
During open season (March-November) enjoy a drink at the Enniskeen Hotel bar & outdoor terrace also located on the estate - check out the breath-taking views of Slieve Donard and the Mourne Mountains as you soak in the afternoon sun. Bar is open until 11pm Monday-Saturday, 10pm Sunday.
WHERE CAN I GET LUNCH/DINNER?
Enniskeen Hotel also located on the estate(open March-November) offer bar snacks, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
Oak Restaurant Pre-booking advised.
Lunch: 12.30PM – 2.30PM Monday to Sunday
Dinner: 5PM – 8.30PM Monday to Sunday
Bar Snacks
Monday - Sunday 12.30PM – 2.30PM
Afternoon Tea
Monday - Sunday 3.30PM – 4.45PM
A range of award winning bars and restaurants are also available in nearby towns of Newcastle, Maghera and Dundrum (5-10 minutes drive)
ARE THERE COOKING FACILITIES WITHIN THE ACCOMMODATION?

Our glamping cabins are equipped with a coffee machine, kettle and cool box. There are no cooking facilities.
Mountain Holiday Cottage
The Mountain Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with wood fired stove oven.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
Enniskeen Estate luxury glamping cabins
Parking is available in the hotel carpark, situated a short 5minute stroll along the river trail to our luxury glamping cabins, Guests should note the path to luxury glamping cabins is uneven and includes steps, please wear suitable clothing and sturdy outdoor footwear. When checking-in your bags will be brought to your cabin for you by one of our team.

Private parking is available at the Mountain Cottage front door.

Enniskeen Estate & Forest Spa is located in the North-east of Ireland beside Tollymore Forest Park and is just 1 mile from the small seaside town of Newcastle & Royal County Down Golf Course. Belfast is approximately 40 mins drive and 1 hour from Dublin.

HOW DO I CHECK IN AT ENNISKEEN ESTATE & FOREST SPA?
Check-in instructions are sent to your email a few days prior to arrival, please ensure you have provided the correct email address, and have added Enniskeen Estate & Forest Spa to your safe list to help ensure you receive this.
WHAT SHOULD I PACK FOR AN ENNISKEEN ESTATE STAY?
Please dress ready for the outdoors and bring sturdy flat soled outdoor footwear. In your luxury glamping cabin there is essentials like linens, towels and bath products - to keep things simple and preserve valuable space in glamping cabin we recommend packing light and as compact as you can. If you have booked the forest spa also don’t forget your swimsuit.
DO YOUR CABINS HAVE TOILET & SHOWER FACILITIES?
Yes! - Each of our luxury glamping cabins are fully self-contained and have their own private bathroom with toilet and shower.
HOW DO I USE MY ENNISKEEN ESTATE & FOREST SPA GIFT VOUCHER?
To use your gift voucher against accommodation bookings please enter your voucher code within the ‘discount code’ box during the booking process.
To book and use a voucher for a day forest spa experience such as our Afternoon Tea & Spa overlooking Slieve Donard, simply contact us via Whatsapp.

CAN I BOOK MULTIPLE CABINS FOR A GROUP CABIN STAY?
Absolutely! - We welcome small group bookings and can help co-ordinate multiple cabins and forest spa days for retreats, reunions, hen parties or celebrations. Simply reach out to us on Whatsapp and our team will assist you with availability and planning.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Enniskeen Estate & Forest Spa is an adult only facility, therefore no guest under the age of 18 can make a booking and all guests must be 16 or over.
ACCESSIBILITY
Please be advised Enniskeen Estate accommodations and grounds are not suitable for wheelchair access.
